Visualizing the Aurora Through the Landscape of the Heart
This work reimagines the aurora—seen in polar skies—through an emotional and symbolic lens. Using a process of layering and erasure, I simplified the forms to create a sense of calm and immersive focus.
The steep, snow-covered mountains symbolize the challenges we encounter in life, while the awe-inspiring aurora offers a moment of solace and healing. I hope that in witnessing this celestial phenomenon, viewers may find a sense of comfort, just as I have.
From a cosmic perspective, our lives are fleeting—mere particles of dust in an infinite expanse. Yet, because each of us exists, the universe itself holds meaning. In that way, every individual is precious and deeply significant.
Through this work, I invite viewers to momentarily release the constraints of thought and immerse themselves in the wonder of the universe. May this piece offer a moment of rest, reflection, and comfort. And in the midst of life’s hardships, may it inspire dreams, hope, and the courage to continue forward on a new path.

오로라를 心狀(심상)을 통해 형상화 |
북극 지방에서 볼듯한 오로라를 심상(心狀)을 통해 형상화 했으며 그려서 지워가는 식으로 단순화시켜서 안정감과 몰입감을 줄려고했다.
가파르고 눈덮인 설산은 삶의 과정에서 부딪힐수있는 어려움을 은유, 경이로운 자연 현상인 오로라를 보면서 위안를 얻었으면 하는 바램이다.
우주적 관점으로 보면 우리의 삶은 너무도 찰나적이고 한낱 먼지, 티끌에 불과하지만 우리 개인이 존재하기에 우주 또한 존재하니 우리 각자 또한 너무도 귀하고 소중하다.
우주라는 무한 시공간 속에서, 사고의 속박을 해제( 解除)하고 마음껏 상상의 나래를 펼쳐보면서, 그 신비로움에 싸여
잠시라도 마음의 휴식과 위로를 받고 각자 처한 어려운 현실 속에서 꿈과 희망을 갖고 새로운 삶의 여정으로 나아갔으면 하는 바램이다 .
